    A global legal technology company was preparing to open its second APAC office in Hong Kong, where direct competition was already well established, and needed to create immediate visibility in the region. The world’s largest arbitration event, occurring only once every 2 years and attracting more than 1,000 delegates, presented a rare opportunity to announce the new office and build relationships with key decision-makers.

    The challenge was to stand out amid heavy sponsorships and overlapping side events while generating genuine interest and engagement within a saturated market.

  • My approach

    I developed and led the event strategy and communications plan to position the company as a credible and visible new entrant in Hong Kong. This involved setting clear goals, key messages, and success metrics, along with building a coordinated campaign that spanned pre-event anticipation, on-site activation, and post-event follow-up.

    I managed stakeholder communications, oversaw onsite logistics and guest experience, and created thought leadership content that reinforced the company’s voice within the regional market.
